The Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo is a charming small palace located on a remote street in San Marco. It is known for its external spiral staircase, after which it was named (bovolo means “snail”)!

The Ca’ Dario, or Palazzo Dario, is considered as the most amazing palace of the city. It is located right in the Grand Canal and it was built in the 15th century. Rumor has it that it is haunted!
